ANTONIN HOLUB, ACK 1935 - 2016

studied Mathematics and Physical Education at the Higher Pedagogical School and in 1966 he graduated from the CINEMATOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT at FAMU.

At the Barrandov Film Studio he started as an assistant and a second camera OPERATOR. He shot both fiction and documentary FILMS; often filmed with Věra Plívová-Šimková OR Ján Kadár AND Elmar Klos. He worked with Laterna magika, with CZECH television AND on foreign PROJECTS. He also published several photographic books.

He received Honorable Recognition at Academiafilm Olomouc for the film “Krumlovský čas” and the Prize of the District Committee of the Union of Peasant Peasants for the movie “Nefňukej, veverko!”
