Professional filmmaker originally from Prague, Czech Republic with over ten years of experience in the craft of cinematography, camera operating and creating motion pictures, working on local and international projects. Committed to deliver promised results and unique artistic vision, which was also recognized by the Czech Society of Cinematographers (AČK) by accepting him as a member of this prestigious organization first founded in 1920 for the purpose of advancing the art and science of cinematography.
He is graduate of cinematography department at FAMU (Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) with Master of Arts degree. Marcel has professional knowledge in film and digital cameras, cinematography equipment, creating light concepts, visual effects and also handling the film stock materials, video editing, pre and post-production processing.
He was part of executing several TV shows, documentaries, experimental films, fictional films and short films, which were screened at multiple international film festivals, for example the Palm Springs International ShortFest, and were nominated for several awards.
